Good questions
How big a PA do I need?
Tell us the room size, guest numbers and whether it's speeches, a playlist or a band. We'll recommend a system that fits, with nothing you don't need.
Can I collect the kit and set it up myself?
Yes. We'll show you how it connects when you collect it. Or we can deliver it, set it up and test it before guests arrive.
Do I need a sound engineer?
Not for a playlist or a few speeches. For a live band or a busy evening, an engineer keeps everything sounding right so you can enjoy the event.
Will it work with my venue's volume limit?
Usually, yes. Tell us the limit in advance and we'll choose and place the speakers so the music sounds good without going over it.
Which mixing desk do I need?
Tell us what needs plugging in and how much room you have at the mixing position. We'll recommend the Wing Compact or the X32 to suit.
Do I need a mixer to use hired mics?
Usually, yes. Mics plug into a mixer or a speaker with a mic input. If your venue doesn't have one, we can add a PA and mixer.
Which keyboard should I choose?
Tell us the music and how you like to play. If you have a favourite model, ask for it and we'll check it's free on your date.
Can I hire a single item?
Yes. Hire just one speaker, mic or keyboard, or add whatever else you need. Every item is tested before it leaves us.
