We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions, email us at admin@starnowltd.co.uk.

We only collect the information you choose to give us when you get in touch, for example by email, phone, social media or our quote form. This can include:

• your name, email address and phone number;
• details about your event, such as the date, venue, guest numbers and what you need;
• anything else you include in your message.

When you use the quote form, your answers are sent straight to our inbox by email. The website itself does not store them. To keep out spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser is not an automated bot.

We use your information to:

• reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote;
• plan, deliver and support your booking;
• send invoices and keep the records we are required to keep by law.

Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and complying with our legal obligations. We will not send you marketing unless you have asked us to, and we never sell your information.

We only share your information where we need to in order to run the business, for example with our email and website hosting providers (including Cloudflare, which hosts this website and runs the spam check, and Resend, which delivers quote form messages to our inbox), our accountant, or a venue or supplier involved in your event when you have asked us to work with them. Anyone we share information with must keep it secure and use it only for that purpose.

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and, if you book with us, for as long as needed to deliver your event and meet our legal and accounting obligations. After that, we delete it securely.

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other websites. Our fonts are hosted with the website, so your browser does not contact third-party font services. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct anything that is wrong;
• ask us to delete your information;
• object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
• ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
